Jessica has owned and operated a Hair/Tanning salon since 2011. Serving others, working with the public and helping her clients to achieve their dreams is a passion of hers. 1.How many years have you been in business?
I just got my Real Estate license in Jan. 2021, so I am very new to the business.
2. What Motivates you?
Over the past 13 years I have done hair and owned my own salon for the last 10 years. What motivates me about Real Estate is the constant opportunity to learn something new! I am excited about a challenge and I LOVE to make people happy!
3. As someone doing business in Decatur/Wise County, how does the Chamber help you?
I feel like the Chamber will help me grow both businesses. I stand behind a chair most days so being involved with the Chamber gives me so many chances to get out and meet with people in our community.
5. Do you have any advice for new business owners?
My advice for new business owners is to hang in there. Hard work pays off and it takes time to make great things happen. I have told myself this a lot since January.
6. When you are not working, where in Decatur/Wise County do you like to spend your time?
I love to work but when I am not working I am chasing kids. My husband and I have 5 kids together so between Decatur and Alvord we might be at a game. We spend our Summers on Lake Bridgeport or hauling our camper for a weekend getaway. Family time is our favorite!!!
